How are my shipments tracked?

Every shipment receives a tracking number upon booking. You can contact us for real-time updates on your cargo's location and expected delivery. We also provide email notifications at key stages: departure from Panama, arrival at destination, and clearance completion.

What's the difference between LCL and FCL?

LCL (Less than Container Load) combines your shipment with other cargo in a shared container, perfect for smaller volumes. FCL (Full Container Load) dedicates an entire container to your shipment, ideal for larger quantities. LCL is more flexible for smaller amounts, while FCL offers better per-unit pricing for larger shipments.

What is included in your pricing?

Our quoted prices include origin consolidation, professional wrapping, loading, ocean freight, and delivery tracking. What's NOT included are optional services like cargo insurance, destination handling, or expedited service. We'll always clarify what's included and what's extra before you book.

Do you offer cargo insurance?

Yes, we can arrange cargo insurance for your shipment. Costs are typically 1-2% of your cargo's declared value. We recommend insurance for valuable items. You can choose to include this with your booking, and we'll provide details on coverage limits and exclusions.

Are your prices negotiable for regular shipments?

Absolutely. For customers with consistent, high-volume shipments, we offer customized pricing and service agreements. We'd be happy to discuss long-term partnerships and negotiate rates that work for your business needs.

How often do ships depart from Panama?

We have weekly sailings from Panama to most major Caribbean destinations. This regular schedule means you don't have to wait long for your shipment to depart. Exact departure days may vary by destination, so we'll confirm the schedule when you book.

How long does shipping take?

Transit times vary by destination but typically range from 3-7 days for most Caribbean islands. Distances from Panama to nearby islands (Dominican Republic, Jamaica) are shorter, while more distant locations may take longer. We provide specific transit estimates with every quote.

Can you expedite shipments?

What happens if a ship is delayed?

Payment & Terms

When is payment due?

Standard terms are payment in full before departure, though we can negotiate payment terms for established customers. We'll confirm the exact payment schedule when you book. Once payment is received, your cargo is prioritized for the next available sailing.

Can I cancel or modify my booking?

Bookings can be modified or cancelled before cargo is loaded, though fees may apply depending on how close to departure. Once loading begins, the shipment cannot be cancelled. Contact us immediately if you need to make changes to your booking.

Do you offer credit terms for regular customers?
